A Level grades decide university offers, and predicted grades decide which offers arrive at all. Our A Level tutoring in Dubai starts with where a student is losing marks, then teaches the subject the way the student's board assesses it.
Boards we cover
| Board | Structure | What it means for tutoring |
|---|---|---|
| Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL) | Modular units, with resits | Each unit exam is a milestone; resits can be planned |
| Pearson Edexcel GCE A Level | Linear, with final papers | Everything is examined at the end, so revision is cumulative |
| AQA A Level (sat as AQA International) | Linear, one main summer series | Steady coverage, then full papers |
| Cambridge International AS and A Level | AS can count towards the A Level | AS results shape predicted grades |
The difference between IAL and GCE is explained in GCE A Level vs IAL.

How A Level tutoring works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Audit | Board, marks, written work, mock calendar and habits are reviewed before teaching begins |
| 2. Teach | Examiner-led method, taught through the student's actual syllabus |
| 3. Practise | Past-paper questions, mark schemes and timed technique turn content into marks |
| 4. Review | Progress, risks and next priorities are shared clearly with the family |
Parents see progress, risks and next priorities clearly, so nobody waits for a report card to find out how things are going.
Practice between sessions
Students practise on our A Level worksheets: past paper questions by topic for Edexcel IAL, Edexcel GCE and AQA, each with a marking scheme. Edexcel IAL students can go straight to maths, physics, chemistry, biology and economics.
One team, one route
Academic mentorship, test preparation and university counselling sit under one team, so the mentor teaching a subject this term already understands where the student is heading in two years.
Common questions
Which A Level boards do you tutor?
Pearson Edexcel International A Level (IAL), Edexcel GCE, AQA and Cambridge International AS and A Level.
Which A Level subjects do you teach?
Maths, physics, chemistry, biology and economics. Other subjects can be discussed at the first consultation.
Can you help with IAL unit resits?
Yes. Because IAL is modular, a resit can be planned around the remaining units so it does not crowd out new content.
When should an A Level student start tutoring?
Year 12 is the best time: predicted grades are often set from Year 12 work and mocks, before university applications open.
How do parents see progress?
After each stage, parents receive a clear view of progress, risks and next priorities from the mentor.
