A university application is not one deadline. It is a sequence of decisions that begins years earlier, with subject choices and testing. Our admissions counselling in Dubai moves through those decisions as one route, so nothing is left to the final term.
What admissions counselling covers
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Profiling | Strengths, interests, curriculum and long-term direction are clarified before shortlisting |
| Country and university choice | The UK, US, Canada, Australia and Europe compared by teaching style, cost, culture, outcomes and fit |
| Subject choices and roadmap | IGCSE, A Level and IB choices aligned with intended courses early |
| Testing | SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL and UCAT timed around school demands and deadlines |
| Profile | Activities, research, internships and summer programmes that show depth |
| Essays | UCAS personal statements, Common App essays and supplements, mentored in the student's own voice |
| Applications | UCAS, Common App and direct portals tracked in one calendar |
| Scholarships and funding | Options considered early, so cost is planned before offers arrive |
| Visas and arrival | Visa assistance through trusted partners, and preparation for the first weeks on campus |
Why start early
The strongest applications are built over years: subject choices in Year 9 and Year 11, a profile that grows naturally, and testing timed so it never collides with mocks. Families who start early make fewer rushed decisions.
One set of hands
The people helping a student choose subjects are the same people refining essays and deadlines later. Academic mentorship, test preparation and university counselling sit under one team, so the mentor teaching a subject this term already understands where the student is heading in two years.
Common questions
Which countries do you advise on?
The UK, the US, Canada, Australia and Europe, with shortlists built around each student's course, budget and fit.
Do you write personal statements or essays?
No. We mentor students through UCAS personal statements, Common App essays and supplements, drawing out an honest voice without writing it for them.
When should we start university counselling?
Ideally by Year 10 or Grade 9, when subject choices begin to shape options. Students who start later can still be helped, with a tighter plan.
Do you help with testing such as the SAT or UCAT?
Yes. Testing strategy is part of the plan, and our test preparation team prepares students for the SAT, ACT, IELTS, TOEFL and UCAT.
Do you help with visas?
Once a place is confirmed, visa assistance is arranged through trusted partners.
