IB tutors in Dubai

In short

CuratedPrep offers one-to-one IB Diploma tutoring in Dubai for SL and HL students. Mentors teach maths (AA and AI), physics, chemistry, biology, economics and business management through the IB guide and past markschemes, starting with a diagnosis of where marks are lost, then a plan timed around the school calendar.

  • SL and HL taught separately, matched to each subject's papers
  • Markscheme language, command terms and timed practice
  • Progress shared with parents throughout the two years

The IB Diploma rewards students who understand how each paper is marked, not only what the syllabus contains. Our IB tutoring in Dubai begins by finding exactly where a student is losing marks, then teaches the subject the way IB examiners assess it.

How IB tutoring works

StepWhat happens
1. AuditBoard, marks, written work, mock calendar and habits are reviewed before teaching begins
2. TeachExaminer-led method, taught through the student's actual syllabus
3. PractisePast-paper questions, mark schemes and timed technique turn content into marks
4. ReviewProgress, risks and next priorities are shared clearly with the family

Parents see progress, risks and next priorities clearly, so nobody waits for a report card to find out how things are going.

SL and HL, kept apart

HL students sit more content and, in maths, an extra paper. We plan SL and HL work separately so an SL student is not buried in HL detail, and an HL student covers the extension material in time for their school's internal assessment deadlines and mocks.

Practice between sessions

Students practise on our IB Diploma worksheets: past paper questions arranged by syllabus topic, each with a marking scheme. The first two topics of every subject are free to read.

Free formula booklets: maths (AA and AI), physics and chemistry.

One team, one route

Academic mentorship, test preparation and university counselling sit under one team, so the mentor teaching a subject this term already understands where the student is heading in two years.

Common questions

Which IB subjects do you tutor?

Mathematics (analysis and approaches, and applications and interpretation), physics, chemistry, biology, economics and business management, at SL and HL. Other subjects can be discussed at the first consultation.

Do you tutor both SL and HL?

Yes. SL and HL work is planned separately, so each student covers exactly what their papers assess.

When should an IB student start tutoring?

Earlier is calmer: the first year of the Diploma is the best time to fix gaps, before internal assessments, mocks and university applications arrive together in the second year.

How do parents see progress?

After each stage, parents receive a clear view of progress, risks and next priorities from the mentor.

Can IB tutoring be combined with university counselling?

Yes. Academic mentorship, test preparation and university admissions counselling are run by one team, so subject choices, predicted grades and applications are planned together.
