It depends on the year and on each university: some weigh the UCAT heavily, others use it with a threshold. The UCAT Consortium publishes score distributions each year, and universities publish how they use the test. When do students in the UAE sit the UCAT?
Once a year, in a summer testing window (July to September in recent years), for university entry the following year. Most students sit it in the summer after Year 12 or IB DP1.
Can the UCAT be taken more than once in a year?
No. A candidate may test only once in any year.
